About Us

Charlie Capehorn

Following a maths degree at Sussex University, Charlie decided the city was not for her. With a passion for skiing and food, she headed for the mountains of France and a ski season. She soon realised that cooking was where her heart lay and came home to requests from friends and family to cater for parties. Training at the renowned Ballymaloe cookery school in Ireland followed, then working as the Head Chef for a catering company in London, catering for various events, from directors’ dining to weddings to the soap awards; at theatres, Christies, the BBC, St James’ Palace, Windsor Castle and many more. Branching out with Charlie Food was the obvious next step and the business has grown from there, taking on many private and corporate jobs including the catering and hospitality for the Tour of Britain and organizing London Songwriters Week for Music Matrix.
