
Terms and Conditions

Booking with Charlie Food Ltd
All bookings must be confirmed in writing by the Client.
A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to secure Charlie Food for the date of your event.

Booking Deposit
A booking deposit invoice will be provided to the Client by Charlie Food once your booking confirmation is received. This deposit will be deducted from the total costs (please see our Payment terms below).
Payment methods available include bank transfer and cash.

Booking Confirmation
Once the Clients deposit/s have been received a receipt will be issued by Charlie Food together with a summary of the event and what is included.
Final Numbers
After final numbers have been provided, we are happy to accept any increases in requirements however no reduction will be possible. Final guest numbers must be confirmed no later than 1 week prior to the event.
Payment of Total Event Costs
A final invoice will be issued post event, to include any agreed changes/additions requested by the client and any costs incurred from damages/breakages.
Cancellation Charge
In the unfortunate event of a booking having to be cancelled confirmation in writing will be needed by Charlie Food, and your deposit will be retained. At the discretion of Charlie Food, if a suitable amount of time prior to the event and no costs have been incurred, it may be possible to transfer the deposit to an alternative event/date.
​Dietary Requirements and Allergies
Charlie Food will provide suitable adaptions to the Clients menu for any guests with special dietary requirements or allergies. We cannot however take responsibility for any guests unless advised in advance (no less than 1 week prior to the event).
Whilst every endeavour will be made to cater to any dietary needs, our kitchen is not an allergen free environment so there is always a possibility of trace allergens.
Clients’ Food and Drinks
We accept no liability for any food supplied to the Client by another caterer (or food products suppliers by the Client themselves) in additional to those arranged by Charlie Food.
Client’s use of Charlie Food’s Property and Clients Personal Property
The Client agrees to pay for any loss or damage to any equipment, crockery, cutlery or glassware supplied by Charlie Food for the event, including any issues caused by the Clients guests.
Charlie Food will not be held responsible for the theft, lost or damage to any personal effects of the Client or Clients guests.

Liability of Charlie Food
Charlie Food accept no liability under any claim whatsoever arising (be it by negligence or otherwise) for any loss over the figure of the existing Charlie Food Public Liability Limit of Indemnity. Note that this figure which may change from time to time, and is available upon request together with a copy of our Certificate.
Force Majeure
Charlie Food shall incur no liability to the Client if performance of the contract is prevented or hindered by any case whatsoever beyond Charlie Food’s control and in particular but without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, by act of fire, flood, subsidence, sabotage, accident, strike, or lock out and shall not be liable for any loss or damage resulting there from suffered by the Client.
